Felicity

Felicity was very, very scared when she moved in with us at the PLACE for STRAYS. At first she just hid in her hut, but after a few days she happily came out of her box and ran across the grounds. At that time she still kept a safe distance from people, slowly starting to sniff and lick the hands of the helpers. If she had a secure fence between her and the helpers, she would even like to be petted and cuddled. She got along with the other dogs immediately and was very social with them. Little by little she made more and more small advances. Little by little she gained more confidence. At some point it was ready that we could take them on excursions – first shorter, later longer. She liked that very much, even if she was always very nervous for the first few minutes outside the premises. But after a while she relaxed and even orientated herself well towards us humans. Felicity now lives with her own dear family in Germany. As in the PLACE for STRAYS, she needs a bit to arrive and really settle in. But her family gives her all the time she needs.
