And again we received a call for help from a dedicated animal welfare activist who had found an injured young dog in a gipsy camp and asked us for help. The little guy had a broken leg. Since then he was forced to hobble around with the broken leg. Our helpers went to collect him and took him to the vet. An x-ray revealed that the leg is definitely broken and needed surgery. Fortunately, his blood tests showed that he does not suffer from heart worms, tick bite fever nor Leishmaniasis. On 11/03/2021 his leg was operated on. Now his is in foster care with Elena, where he can recover.

Sweet Bernie just moved in with us but already stole the hearts of all our helpers. He is just sugar sweet. More we cannot say about him at the moment. We ask for some patience.
