Diego

Diego

Nari, whom we rescued from the street pregnant, gave birth to her 7 puppies in the PLACE for STRAYS. One of these puppies is Diego. We nursed Nari and her puppies and the little ones developed well. After they had their first vaccination, another bitch with puppies moved in with us in the PLACE for STRAYS. Unfortunately this litter was infected with Parvo. After we found this out, the infected pups were isolated with their mom. Diego and his brother Olaf, who had already been adopted and were only waiting for their vaccinations to be completed before they could move out, were quickly given to their new families so that they would no longer be exposed to the risk of infection. Unfortunately that didn’t help, because despite the immediate move out, Diego was already infected with the virus and had to stay in the veterinary clinic for a few days and receive intensive veterinary treatment. Fortunately, he survived the illness well and is now healthy and fit. And of course the new families have made up for the necessary vaccinations for Diego and Olaf. Now the two little ones are well protected with their new “mom’s” and can look forward to a healthy and happy future.
